Plants: Tamarix aphylla, Parkinsonia aculeata,
Ziziphus spina-christi, Ghaf, Acacia tortilis

Their deep roots and tough leaves prevent erosion,
restore arid land, and support biodiversity in harsh
climates.

Why It Matters

1,000,000 m² of desert is a huge
potential for life.

Climate: heat up to +50 °C, sand,
lack of moisture — yet greening is still
possible here.
